Quantity surveyor in London
Outsourced take-offs, NRM 2 Bills of Quantities, cost plans and measured schedules of work for London contractors, cost consultants and developers.

Overview
London has more construction activity than any other UK region, from high-rise residential and offices to schools and hospitals, and a large volume of refurbishment, extension and retrofit work on existing buildings. Tender periods are short, and experienced quantity surveyors are hard to hire.
We give London firms extra measurement capacity. Our team works to the RICS New Rules of Measurement and to your templates, and delivers take-offs and BoQs your surveyors can check and price.

Many London residential schemes are higher-risk buildings under the Building Safety Act and need approval from the Building Safety Regulator before construction starts. Design information is fixed in more detail earlier, and safety-critical work such as fire-stopping, façades and smoke control must be clearly specified.
We measure these as separate, clearly described items, so they are priced properly and changes are easy to trace.
A large share of London’s work is on existing buildings: refurbishments, extensions, conversions and energy retrofit. We prepare measured schedules of work and BoQs that separate strip-out, alterations and new work, so contractors can price them accurately.
