In New South Wales, the Design and Building Practitioners Act 2020 requires registered practitioners to declare that designs and building work for apartment buildings comply with the Building Code of Australia. Designs therefore tend to be more complete before construction, and we keep compliance-related items, such as fire and waterproofing work, clearly described so builders price them properly.

Commercial projects in Australia commonly use standard contracts such as AS 4000 or AS 2124, and quantities may follow the Australian Standard Method of Measurement or the builder’s own trade format. Tell us which you use, and we prepare quantities in that format.
